How is ‘Mastery’ calculated?

The 'Mastery' score is a valuable metric that helps you evaluate your current understanding and progress on specific questions. This score is calculated by taking into account various factors, such as:

  1. Streak: Your streak refers to the number of consecutive correct answers you have provided for a particular question. A higher streak will lead to a higher mastery score for that question.
  1. Overall Question Performance: This factor considers your overall performance on the question, including the number of attempts and correct answers. The better your performance, the higher your mastery score will be for that question.
  1. Due Date: The longer a question is past its due date, the lower the mastery score will be for that question

In summary, the 'Mastery' score serves as an estimate of the probability that you will answer a specific question correctly during your next attempt in your Personal Deck. The higher the mastery score, the more likely you are to get the question right.
