Use Settings to rename your course and choose how spiral review works for its classes.
Open Settings
- In the main navigation bar (left side), click the course picker (below the Podsie icon) to select the course you’d like to update settings for
- Click Settings at the bottom of the main navigation bar
Settings appears only for courses you can edit. These settings apply to every class in the course.
Rename the course
- Select Rename
- Enter the new name in Name
- Select Save
Turn on daily review
In spiral review, students revisit questions from past assignments, so they hold onto what they’ve learned.
Turn on Daily review to encourage students to complete a review session before their classwork each day. It will show up as a card on their Classwork page, where they can click Start review.
Once a student completes a review session, the card will no longer prompt that student to do a daily review. Instead, it will show their next activity.
Daily review is not a requirement. It simply encourages a spiral review session front and center for each day, before students begin their classwork.
Students can always do spiral review on their own, by going to their Review tab.
Choose the review settings
- Questions per review: the number of questions in each review session. The default is 5.
- Attempts per question: the number of tries a student gets on each review question. The default is 2.
