Collaborating through Subject Groups
How Subject Groups enable teachers to share content and work together
Subject Groups allow teachers to collaborate with each other on Podsie through the following ways:
- First, teachers in the same Subject Group share and use the same set of Learning Standards. (Learning Standards are a set of topics that you can use to tag and organize your questions. You can learn more about them in this article.)
- When creating assignments, teachers can then also use the shared Learning Standards to find questions from other teachers who are in the Subject Group.
⚠️ IMPORTANT ⚠️ Please note that the following happens when you join a Subject Group:
- You can access any questions that they have created for that Subject Group.
- All of YOUR questions under this course will become available to the teachers in your newly-joined Subject Group.
- You and the teachers in your newly joined Subject Group will now share a set of Learning Standards that you can use to tag your questions.
- ⚠️ WARNING: Once you join, all of your questions will LOSE their current standards tag, and you will have to retag them using the new set of Learning Standards.
- In addition, all teachers in the Subject Group will be able to edit the shared Learning Standards.
