Review a published assignment

Check one assignment's results, inspect student answers, and share its student link.

Open a published assignment to see its questions and class results.

Open the assignment

  1. Select Content, then Classwork.
  1. Select the title of a published assignment.
  1. Choose a class from the menu above the results.

The summary shows the assigned classes, due date, status, and number of questions.

A published assignment shows its summary and the selected class's performance.
A published assignment shows its summary and the selected class's performance.

Read student results

The Performance tab lists students in the selected class.

For ordinary assignments:

  • Score compares correct first answers with the total number of questions.
  • Correct First Attempts shows correct first answers out of questions attempted.
  • Questions Attempted shows how many questions the student started.
  • Questions Completed shows how many questions meet the assignment's completion rules.

These columns measure different things. A student can complete a question after an incorrect first answer.

Select a student's name to inspect their saved answers. Students with no attempts show Not Started.

Inspect questions

Select Questions to see the assignment's questions and correct answers. Under a question, select See student answers to inspect responses.

To compare results across several assignments, use Student Work.

Preview, share, or edit

Select Preview to open the student layout. Complete unfinished questions in the editor if Preview is unavailable.

To share the assignment, open Share and select Copy student link. Send this link to students in an assigned class.

Select Edit to change questions or publication settings. See Edit an assignment.
